Animated Perspectives on Space

Program

In partnership with the Space Foundation, we are developing collaborations with animation schools to support the creation of short and very short films exploring space‑related issues.

We meet with students to share a culture of sustainable and European space, nurture their imagination, and stimulate their critical thinking. This work is part of a genuine creative process: young authors explore the links between Earth and Space, the uses of space technologies for society, and the narratives of tomorrow.

The films produced within this framework will be showcased during future editions of the Cinema for Space festival, offering students professional visibility and a privileged space for dissemination.

Our objective: to raise awareness and support young creators in the emergence of new narratives around space, its applications in service of Earth, and the imaginaries it inspires.

The program is organized around three main areas

Awareness & Inspiration

Discussions on space-related topics to help students better understand the relationships between Earth and space. The program is organized around three main areas: Earth and Space.

Creation & Support

Creation of short-form animated or motion design videos inspired by themes related to Earth and Space.

Promotion & Dissemination

The films produced will be featured in the festival’s short film competition, which will include the presentation of an Audience Award.
