Article 1 : SCOPE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply, without restriction or reservation, to any purchase of tickets for events organized by the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE.
Ticket sales are carried out through the online ticketing platform operated by SAS WEEZEVENT, acting as a technical service provider.
Accordingly, these GTCS apply:
-by the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE, for all matters relating to event organization, pricing, access conditions, and refunds;
-by SAS WEEZEVENT, for all matters relating to the technical operation of the website, online payment, and the issuance of electronic tickets.
Any order placed via the website mentioned in Article 3 constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS, which the customer declares having read and accepted without reservation.
Article 2 : LEGAL STATUS AND MANDATORY INFORMATION
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE is organized by LES AMIS DU TEMPS PRESSE, a non‑profit cultural association governed by French law (Association loi 1901).
Registration number: W922017683 in the National Register of Associations.
Regulated activity: not applicable. The festival’s activity does not fall under a regulated profession requiring specific authorization.
The association LES AMIS DU TEMPS PRESSE is not subject to VAT pursuant to Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Prices are therefore net, with no VAT applicable.
Professional title and competent authority: not applicable.
Article 3 : PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION
In accordance with Article L.111‑1 of the French Consumer Code, the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE website provides customers with essential characteristics of the services offered (dates, times, venues, programming).
This information is provided as accurately as possible. However, visual elements (photographs, excerpts, descriptions) are for illustrative purposes only and shall not engage the Festival’s liability in case of error or modification.
Article 4 : ORDERS AND TICKETING
Orders may be placed by the customer:
-on the Festival’s website: cinemaforspace.com
-through any local reseller authorized by the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE, whose list is available on the aforementioned website.
For the purposes of these GTCS, a reseller is considered “authorized” when it has received written permission from the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE allowing it to sell tickets for its events.
Tickets are issued in electronic or physical form. Any order is firm and final upon validation and payment by the customer.
Tickets are personal and non‑transferable and cannot be returned or exchanged, except as specifically provided in these GTCS.
By validating the order and checking “I accept the terms of sale,” the customer accepts these conditions. All mandatory fields must be completed to finalize the order.
The order is confirmed once the confirmation screen appears and after receipt of a validation email from WEEZEVENT.
The Festival reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of dispute or non‑payment.
By placing an order under the conditions specified herein, the customer declares being duly authorized to do so and agrees to fulfill their contractual obligations.
Article 5 : PRICING AND PAYMENT
Ticket prices for the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE are indicated in Euros.
Applicable prices are those in effect at the time of the order.
Payment is made online using the payment methods offered on the website.
Electronic tickets are sent to the email address provided by the customer during the order process.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their contact information.
Article 6 : ACCESS CONTROL
Each ticket contains a unique code (QR code, barcode, or equivalent). Its validity is checked at the entrance of the session reserved by the customer.
Ticket reproduction is prohibited. Only the first person presenting the ticket will be admitted.
Article 7 : MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE reserves the right to modify programming, schedules, or venues when necessary (e.g., technical reasons, cancellation of speakers, force majeure).
In case of cancellation of a session by the Festival, the customer may receive a refund or an exchange, according to the terms specified on the website.
Article 8 : NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L.221‑28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, tickets for shows and events are not subject to a right of withdrawal.
All orders are therefore firm and final.
Article 9 : LIABILITY
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE declines all liability in case of loss or theft of the ticket.
The customer must comply with the internal regulations of the screening venues (safety, behavior, prohibitions).
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE shall not be held liable for failure to fulfill any of its obligations in cases of unforeseen events, force majeure (as defined by the French Civil Code), or incidents involving transportation/communication failures, strikes, blackouts, export/import bans, floods, fires, or interruptions of IT or telecommunications systems.
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE is liable only for direct damages resulting from proven and exclusive fault. Liability cannot be sought more than six months after the event giving rise to the claim and shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the order concerned.
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE shall not be liable for intangible or indirect damages such as loss of business or reputation. Photos, texts, and illustrations on the website are non‑binding, particularly in case of typographical errors. All texts, images, logos, and trademarks on the website are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws; any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited.
The Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE reserves the right to deny access to anyone refusing to comply with safety instructions. It is forbidden to photograph, film, record, smoke, eat, or drink alcohol during the session. The Festival may refuse access to spectators who do not meet the recommended minimum age or whose health or behavior is incompatible with the event.
Article 10 : GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These GTCS and all related sales operations are governed by French law.
Any dispute arising from these operations, failing amicable resolution, shall be submitted to the Commercial Court of Nanterre, which the customer expressly accepts.
Article 11 : DATA PROTECTION
Information collected by the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE is necessary for order processing and customer relationship management.
As data controller, the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE ensures the confidentiality and security of personal data provided by customers on the website: www.cinemaforspace.com
Data is processed in accordance with applicable regulations (GDPR).

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, each customer has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, portability, and object to the processing of their data. These rights may be exercised at any time by contacting info@cinemaforspace.com.
Customers may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
Personal data is retained only for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
Article 12 – DIGITAL SERVICES AND LEGAL GUARANTEES

In accordance with Articles L.217‑4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Festival CINEMA FOR SPACE guarantees the conformity of the digital service provided (online ticketing) and covers any hidden defects.
12.3 Implementation of Guarantees
In case of a technical issue preventing reservation or ticket access, the customer may contact customer service by email or phone. A response will be provided within 5 business days.
If the issue persists, the customer may receive a refund or an equivalent service.
12.4 Updates
The online ticketing service may require software updates, including security updates, to improve functionality and safety.
Duration of update provision: throughout the operational lifetime of the Festival’s website.
Consequences of updates: they may affect service performance, including browsing speed, temporary storage usage, or available features.
